Arizona vs UConn in the Elite 8

Arizona takes on UConn in the Elite 8 Saturday at 7:05pm eastern on CBS live from Anaheim. This is the Wildcats ninth appearance in the Elite 8. After only 2 years as head coach, Sean Miller has the Wildcats back in the Elite 8. It's no wonder he was named Pac 10 coach of the year and with help from Derrick Williams, the Cats look primed to take down any opponent they face in the tournament.

Arizona vs Texas Round 3

With their win over Memphis, Arizona takes on Texas in Round 3 of the NCAA Tournament live from Tulsa, Ok today at 4:15PM M.S.T. on TNT. They are facing a tough Big-12 team coming off their 85-81 win over Oakland in round 2. They are lead by guard Jordan Hamilton (18.7 ppg) and freshman forward Tristan Thompson (7.9 rpg). This looks to be a good match up between Derrick Williams and Tristan Thompson. Look for this match up during the game and hopefully the better team will prevail. Go Cats and as always Bear Down!

Arizona Advances

After narrowly defeating Memphis on Friday the Wildcats advance to take on Texas thanks to a last second shot blocked by Derrick Williams, once again, to seal the victory for the Cats. Arizona defeated Memphis in a shoot out 77-75. Derrick Williams led the team with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 HUGE blocked shot. The Cats will take on Texas Sunday March 20 live from Tulsa at 4:15pm M.S.T.

Arizona vs Memphis Round 1

Route for the Wildcats today as they face former wildcat Josh Pastner as the head coach of Memphis. The winner of todays game will face Texas in round 2. I'm predicting the final score Arizona 74, Memphis 63. Bear down Wildcats and beat the Tigers.

Pac-10 Champs

Arizona may have lost the PAC-10 Tournament in a heartbreaker to Washington, but with the best record in the Pac-10, there are still the front runner out of the conference going in to the tournament. With the brackets just released Arizona sits a 5 seed. The likeliest scenario for the Wildcats on the road to the Final Four looks like this out of the West Bracket;

     Rd 1 - Memphis (12)
     Rd 2 - Texas (4)
     Rd 3 - Duke (1)
     Rd 4 - Pitt (1)
     Rd 5 - Ohio st. (1) / Kansas (1)
